Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the audit take?
2-3 weeks from the day we get read-only warehouse access to the day you receive the full audit report. Most clients see results in 14 days.
What if you find less than $50,000 in leakage?
The success fee is completely waived. You only pay the $5,000 audit fee. Zero downside risk for you.
Do you need admin access to our production systems?
No. We only need read-only access to your data warehouse (Snowflake or BigQuery). We never touch production, never access customer PII, and operate under NDA and SOC 2 compliance standards.
What's the average recovery rate?
75% of identified leakage gets recovered. The remaining 25% is typically revenue that's too old (>12 months) or tied to churned customers who won't respond.
Do you handle customer communications for backbilling?
We provide battle-tested templates, email scripts, and objection handling guides. You send the communications (customers trust you, not us). We coach you through tough conversations on weekly calls.
What happens after the recovery phase?
You receive a prevention roadmap with specific steps to stop future leakage: webhook monitoring setup, automated reconciliation checks, alerting rules, and process improvements. Implementation is on you, but we give you the playbook.
How is this different from our annual financial audit?
Financial audits check compliance with accounting standards (ASC 606). We check if you're actually collecting all the money you've earned. Two completely different goals. You need both.
What billing platforms do you support?
Currently Stripe only. We're adding Chargebee and Zuora in Q2 2026. Data warehouses: Snowflake and BigQuery.
Can we get a refund if we're not satisfied?
The $5K audit fee is non-refundable (we do real work for 2-3 weeks). However, if we find leakage but you choose not to pursue recovery, you don't pay the success fee. Fair?
How do you charge the success fee?
15% of actually recovered revenue, capped at $50K total. We invoice you monthly as cash hits your account. If a customer pays in installments, we bill our fee in installments too.
